We are a small surf brand. To be clear, a core surf brand. Not a fishing brand or a golfing brand (not that there is anything wrong with that), but it’s not what we do.
We are surfers. And our team consists of surfers - from our graphic designer, photographer, shirt printer, to our owner – this merch has been touched by surfers.
AquaGlyph was started in 2024 by a married couple in Melbourne Beach, whose love of surfing has fueled them to travel the world searching out the best beaches & surf breaks.
What is our mission?
Our mission is to create unique merchandise for surfers. Apparel & accessories that are not mass-produced and were created sustainably.
We will use our brand and platform to support our surf community, which includes surf events, helping young competitive surfers and local surf teams & clubs.
We also have a free daily surf report for Melbourne Beach, Florida. And will soon have a live stream of the beach behind our house. Stay tuned ;-)
Why did we create AquaGlyph?
We started this brand because we noticed a lack of authentic surf brand run by surfers. We are second generation surfers and grew up in an era where surfing was niche’. Kids didn’t wear a surf brand unless they surfed. Those lines are now blurred and many surf brands are fixated on mass producing anything that makes a buck. Many even just follow whatever trend they see other brands create. Well, not us!
What is an AquaGlyph?
Aqua is water. Aqua means water; sea or rain in Latin. Glyph means carving. Another definition for glyph is a symbol that conveys information non-verbally. Neat, huh? So, AquaGlyph is another term for carving on a wave, or surfing.
